DuVal-Collins Tissue Grasping Forceps is lightweight and has triangular jaws to provide a larger grasping surface. The design of these jaws contributes to a reduction of tissue trauma since the applied force is more distributed. These tissue grasping forceps are more often functional for grabbing internal organs such as the stomach or lung. Additionally, surgeons can control tissue and even eliminate foreign objects in the body. The ring-handle ratchet design and interlocking features at the end of the jaw assure the tissue is grasped firmly. Different jaw widths are available to accommodate different cases.
